proposed testing programs.
The Annual Meeting educational session showcased F&T La-SiSe Institute,
a unique research facility, training academy and outdoor research lab
opened in 2014 by Dolezych, WSTDA member Doleco USA’s German
headquarters. Its work in load securement testing and training and
original research supports its objective, which is to increase traffic
safety by road, rail, waterway and air, and improve protection for
employees. The team from Doleco USA and Dolezych including Ralph Abato,
Karl Keisewitt and Tim Dolezych presented great visuals during their
overview and discussion of the research and testing performed.
Networking is always an important part of WSTDA’s meetings, and the 2016
Annual was no exception. Capping off the event was the annual banquet,
which honored and celebrated the many volunteers who perform the work of
the organization on behalf of the industry.
