Web Sling Technical Committee

I’m pleased to report that progress is being made on the Web Sling Standard (WS-1) rewrite. Section champions are working through each chapter of the standard. Member input is welcome, so feel free to send me your thoughts if there are parts of the current WS-1 that you think require change. The Committee will be reviewing changes during the upcoming Technical Committee meeting in Maui in May. Other topics that we will be discussing in Maui include the red core yarn issue - new discoveries have been found since the last WSTDA meetings in Seattle that should bring to light an evolution in red core yarn since its inception many years ago.

I’m pleased to announce that Karl Heinz Keisewitt has asked to join the Web Sling Committee. We look forward to his valued input. Any other interested parties should contact WSTDA.
