WSTDA Releases Newly Revised Standards

WSTDA recently released the newly-revised Recommended Standard Specification for Synthetic Sewing Threads for Slings and Tie Downs (WSTDA-TH-1). This standard was first published in 1999.

Also completed recently was the Recommended Standard Specification for Winches Used with Synthetic Web Tie Downs (WSTDA-T-3). This standard was first published in 1998.

All members should have received complimentary copies of the Thread Standard and will be receiving a complimentary copy of the Winch Standard in the coming weeks.

Many thanks to WSTDA’s Thread Ad Hoc Committee for the time and energy spent on revising TH-1; and to the Tie Down Committee and their Winch Standard Ad Hoc Committee for countless hours spent on revising T-3.
