WSTDA Board Worked Hard in 2003

Greetings everyone.

This past year has flown by but it has been one of extreme productivity. Your Board of Directors has worked more this year than ever before between meetings. The exchange of information by e-mail and conference calls has been amazing and has allowed us to accomplish much. The board recently approved the WS-1 standard, which you will hear more about in this issue. I want to thank all of the committee members and committee chairs that have worked so diligently on this standard the past few years. They deserve a huge round of applause. It has not been an easy task but I believe that it is a document that the entire membership can be proud of. All committees this past year functioned beautifully. The publication of the UV testing report is another major milestone for this organization.

As always, I encourage member involvement. If you have not been to a meeting in awhile, or perhaps have never been, please come and participate. If the economists are right, we will hopefully have a great year ahead in our industry. What better time than now to come and make a few new friends, meet potential new suppliers and see first hand the work of the committees.
