Web Sling Technical Committee Report

The recent meeting in North Carolina has brought changes to the committee. Shaun has stepped away from the industry and is no longer the chair of this fine committee. I was asked to take over and have agreed to chair the committee for the near future. For those of you that did not know, this is an honor that I have committed to in the past.

I am actively seeking new members for the committee. If you are approached please give careful consideration to joining the committee. If you wish to step forward please contact Fred Stringfellow. I would greatly appreciate any member stepping forward and volunteering to serve our industry. I think you will find the experience more rewarding than you may think.

The upcoming meeting will start the process of the WS-1 review. I look forward to incorporating the information learned since its last review. All members and interested parties should contact me through Fred Stringfellow with any input you may have. We have already received some interesting points of view from several of our members.

To all thank you for the honor of entrusting me with the responsibility of chairing the committee. Please come forward with any suggestions you may have to improve the very important work that we are accomplishing.
