Testing Committee Report

The testing committee has been assigned some new projects by the board.

Project #1:  Act as the brain trust to look for new products for the organization.  Items under consideration include:

  1. Laminated fold cards for web slings and roundslings data

  2. Training video on DVD

  3. All standards on a CD

  4. Warning sheet for winches

  5. Establish a manual for other types of tiedown equipment (Chain, wire rope, anchor points and cordage)

  6. Write a new test procedure for webbing that would replace Mil spec.4108

  7. Tiedown calculator

Project #2:  Establish a testing protocol and cost for testing roundslings against different corner radii. 

These and all other items will be submitted to the board for consideration.
