WSTDA Elects New Board

The Web Sling & Tie Down Association (WSTDA) proudly introduces its newly elected president and board of directors for 2005-2006.

Becky Thiessen, DLD Truck Straps, Inc. was re-elected as president of the association. Thiessen’s term as president comes on the heels of a successful Annual Meeting in Niagara-on-the-Lake, in Ontario, Canada. Interest in membership in WSTDA has surged since the Annual Meeting, with seven new member companies joining the association since May.

Supporting Thiessen is a strong cabinet of officers including Vice President John Walsh, Sling-Choker Mfg. Ltd.; and Secretary/Treasurer Robert Jasany, SpanSet Inc. Frank Kulik, Southern Weaving Company; Ralph Abato, ANCRA International LLC; Michael Gelskey, Lift-It Mfg. Co. Inc.; Mike Lindler, Dupont-Sabanci International; Ken Webb, Pacific Cargo Control, Inc.; and Tom Wynn, Peerless Chain Company are also serving on the 2005-2006 board.
